History

Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed was formed in Orlando in 1969 by four partners who were engaged primarily in a burgeoning real estate practice. The firm's founders established a challenging mission: “to become Central Florida’s best business law firm.”
Capitalizing on the real estate boom accompanying the arrival of Walt Disney World, the firm quickly earned a reputation for excellence, both for having sophisticated real estate services of every kind and, especially, for providing talented attorneys with strong work ethic and exceptional integrity. Dedicated at all times to an ever-increasing demand for its services, the firm’s early recognition for its real estate savvy has evolved and grown to include equal footing in a full range of additional legal services expected by our clients. These include a major emphasis on sophisticated commercial litigation of all types and areas of business law, such as corporate and business entities, tax, estate planning, construction and labor law.
From its initial complement of just four lawyers and four staff members, Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed has grown to become Central Florida’s largest law firm, as reported annually by the Orlando Business Journal.
